Your gut and brain are connected physically through millions of nerves, arguably the most important of which is the Vagus Nerve.
Stress and changes in your mood can cause the feeling of “butterflies in your stomach” and this has a direct affect on the digestion system through the vagus nerve.
Our first Head-Heart-Gut-Feet retreat will focus on the vagus nerve. There are many ways to improve the health of this connection between the Brain in the head and what has been termed the second brain in our gut.
In this retreat we will start with the Feet. This part of the body is the most flexible and closely connects to the ground, bearing the weight of the whole body, bones and muscle. It is the furthest part of the body from the Head-Brain.

9.00am : Reception and Welcome Drink.
9.30 - 11.00am : Breathing, Omming and Feet Sensory Exercise.
11.00 - 14.00pm : Slow guided walking through the picturesque surroundings of Stockbridge, with a packed lunch provided.
14.00 - 15.00pm : Coffee break
15.00-17.00pm : Yin Flow easing off the tension from a long day, just as everyday should be.
17.00pm : Adjourn.
